I started with this one, getting loose and not really thinking out the
piece all that much...just playing!

Then I did this one, which I spent a fair amount of time thinking
and planning this one out....probably to the point of
overthinking, overplanning, overworking.

Then I did this one fast and loose—very intuitively and I LOVE it!

Thought I'd share the sketching I've been doing this week as part on my Lilla Rogers class assignment! Living in southern cali inspired me during this assignment as my succulent garden is in wild and full bloom as the heat of summer has started to simmer and the beetles are buzzing. Now that is HOT!
